A friend from way, way up north is visiting, and he could not have had much worse luck with scoring waves. Michael and I finally just went out yesterday in the meager swell that there was. We made the best of the miniscule conditions, for sure. The air was warm, the water crystal green (about 65 degrees), and the wind was mercifully light offshore for most of it. B. C. Michael took out his new paddle board, and it was good. Bob met us down there at Matanzas Inlet, and we had a regular meeting of the minds. The best part? When those guys invited us over for shrimp tacos on the barbie! We hung out for hours, talking, and figuring out the world's problems. What we need now are waves...
