Britain's Biggest Bull! I have lost my mind. La dee da! No surfing for me! Tra la la la... Hey, the temperature rose above 50 degrees today, and for the first time in weeks. Where are we again? Florida? I don't think so! I rode the bike for twenty miles after work. I realized it is no where near as fun as surfing. But, if I don't do some sort of physical exercise soon, when I do surf again it will involve some reality check that I really won't be able to handle. Oh, wait. I did go ice skating in my shoes this week on the playground at school. Yes, the ice was an inch thick, and there were icicles in the trees. Did you know that Britain has the biggest bull?
What about that movie last weekend? If you haven't seen "The Road" yet, run, don't walk, to it if you can find it playing nearby. We had a hard time finding it. Seems like no one wants to see a movie about the end of time right now. Okay, okay, so it's depressing! This is one of the greatest films ever made, I so deem it true. No, really, it is.
I never like to see a movie after I have read the book. It's always a letdown.
Not this one.
Watching "the Road" was like watching images stolen right off the insides of my eyelids!
Warning: Try not to watch it in a theater with monkeys . We only had about twelve people in the theater where we were, but one of them was a moron who shouted out, "This is stupid!" halfway through it. It was all I could do not to just turn around and say, "Oh, yeah? You're stupid! This is based on one of the most magnificent works of literature ever written! It's Cormac McCarthy, fool!"
