I figured I would go ahead and work today. The waves suck, it's raining, and frankly, I need the money. For presents. It helps the economy. If we are not continually purchasing crap, how will global warming ever continue? This reminds me. Bubba and I got into an argument today at the cafe. He said global warming is all a hoax. I said, "EXCUSE ME?" He wouldn't listen to anything I had to tell him, as happens with those who wish to stay in their little bubble of illusion. He's an old man, he will be dead soon, anyway. He couldn't care any less than he does right now. I asked him how he could argue with scientific fact, he said he couldn't, but there was no such thing as global warming, and that AL Gore was an ass. So, where do all the pollutants from our cars go, I asked? "Up off into the air, into space, where else?" he said.
