When I go into the public school cafeteria every weekday morning, this is what the kids are offered as choices: Sausage pizza, waffles with corn syrup, packaged donuts, packaged sausage biscuits, and Lucky Charms cereal with colored marshmallows.
When I went to ask why, the food manager told me that these are the choices offered to them by the county.
The future is written.
